When Wicked first took over culture, Android saw that Elphaba wasn’t just a character. She represented the idea that real magic comes from embracing the power to choose your own path. Android fans could relate. So we reimagined our own mascot through a Wicked lens—Elphabot. We unveiled a broom-mount phone case as a playful, social-first spoof, perfect for witches on the go. But when fans started asking for it in the comments, we listened to what they really wanted. For the premiere of Wicked: For Good, Android transformed a viral moment into a tangible, collectible, limited-edition product. There were no paid partnerships, no forced hype—just genuine excitement from creators and fans who wanted Elphabot to exist. The Elphabot phone case became a physical manifestation of Android’s brand truth: boldly breaking from the default has magical rewards.
